"My husband and I are both Indian but we wanted a DJ that could mix current Indian & American music very well without having those awkward delays & lags in dancing (I know you all know what I am talking about). We also wanted a DJ that could change the music based on the crowds liking. Since our wedding was taking place in Northeast Ohio we started our search with the Midwest DJs. After talking & meeting with a few, I personally was starting to lose hope; we couldn't find someone with a club mixing style & had background knowledge of both cultures & the knowledge regarding the appropriate music based on events. Then I heard from a family friend that had gone to a wedding in Cleveland, Ohio about DJ Shilpa and I finally took the chance to reach out to her. Shilpa responded so quickly and was great to work with! We ended up hiring her for the Sangeet, Baraat, Wedding, & Reception. We were able to schedule a few phone calls, discuss music preferences, we still sent a list of our favorite songs for the reception, & she helped my sister coordinate the skit & performances for our Sangeet while still keeping it a surprise for my husband and I. She made sure to have the correct timeline a few weeks prior to the wedding & still double checked prior to each event.

She made our wedding weekend so memorable from the first moment of having an open dance floor. It was always packed and nobody wanted to stop dancing including ourselves. We even extended our contract by an extra half an hour at our reception. Shilpa went the further step on checking with us before our grand entrances to make sure she had everything in order to make the night run smoothly; she was the only person that made it to check on u before the grand entrance & helped with indian outfit malfunctions in midst of the check-in. We could not have asked for a better DJ. My husband & I are so grateful to have had an unforgettable wedding with great talent, amazing music, & the perfect sound system that made our wedding a dream come true. We look forward to keeping in touch with her & my sister is hands down going to hire her for her wedding weekend as well :)"
